GS Lighting is the exclusive Scottish Distributor for RZB.

RZB stands for Rudolf Zimmermann Bamberg, a company with a tradition of more than 70 years.
On the company premises of 100,000 square metres, of which 55,000 square metres are floor space with buildings, a staff of around 450 people design, develop and produce a product range of more than 10,000 items. Over 20,000 luminaires leave the factory each day. In Germany the company is one of the ten largest companies in the industry.

More than 60 years ago RZB devoted itself to safety material made from ceramics; since the 1950s it has developed to become one of the leading manufacturers of luminaires. The product range has been expanded step by step.
Today, customers can choose from more than 10,000 different products. More than 20,000 luminaires leave the factory each day. The focus is put placed on luminaires for indoor and outdoor applications as well as special safety luminaires and luminaire signs. Luminaires for which innovative light sources such as LEDs are used play a central role in our product policy. Mouth blown opal glass, plastic materials (Duroplast, Thermoplast) and metals, especially aluminium and sheet metal, are the main materials used.
